There are so many MAC lipsticks to the point that a lot of colours almost look the same when just looking at the lipstick however, they can look very different after applying. Looking at these lipsticks, they look very similar. You also can't really tell that they have different kinds of finishes. You can see a slight difference in undertone, more on the pink or brown side, which can be very important depending on your skin tone and/or preferences.
Faux has a Satin finish, while Mehr and Please Me have a Matte finish. You will clearly see the differences between finishes in the swatches. On a side note: I still don't understand the different font (sizes) on the back of the MAC lipsticks. they are so very different depending on which lipstick you pick! And I can assure you that these are all from the MAC store. The lipstick stays on my lips without any problems, I do have to re-apply after eating.
MAC Mehr
MAC Mehr is described as a dirty blue pink with a matte finish. Compared to Faux, this colour is a bit darker, slightly more brown-y (hence the dirty part in the description?) and more intense due to the matte finish. The matte formula of the MAC lipsticks are less matte compared to a liquid lipstick formula, and is also much more comfortable to wear.
